Internet sales for the week ending Sept. 11 grew 30%, reaching $1.47 billion from $1.12 billion a year ago, comScore Networks Inc. reports.

By comparison, total retail sales for the week ending Sept. 10 were up 4.9% from the same week a year ago, reports ShopperTrak’s National Retail Sales Estimate. It was the 35th week of growth out of 36 weeks in the year so far, ShopperTrak reports.
