ICE Stock Status
The Stock Status screen is accessed by hitting the Stock Status button on the Product, Purchase Order, Receiving, or Transfer screens. This feature allows you to immediately display your current On Hand, On Order, Model Stock, and Sold to Date quantities. When you select a single store location, the grid displays that particular stores information. Or, you may choose to see all of your stores combined on one single screen. With the Stock Status feature, you always have access to the information you need when you need it.
If you are running low on a particularly hot item, you can easily create a new purchase order into the Retail Software purchasing module. Better yet, why not let the software do the work for you and create the order automatically. Retail ICE contains an automatic reorder feature that can create a purchase order to restock your store to the model stocking levels you establish for a particular item. Even more powerful, it can also produce a single order for all of your store locations and all of the products you carry from the selected vendor. In one easy step, Retail ICE will create a single purchase order with the exact quantities that each store requires and creates the distribution right on the order! You can then elect to leave the order "as is" or edit it yourself before sending it to the vendor.
To make your buying process even easier, Retail ICE can also figure out and set the optimum stocking levels in your stores for you. If you don't want to set the min/max or model stock levels yourself, Retail ICE can analyze the sales history of your goods and "fill-in" these optimum stocking levels automatically. This feature aides you in increasing inventory turns by reducing the amount of over stocked merchandise.
